“驚愕（KYOUGAKU・きょうがく）”

“驚・KYOU” means “surprised”.

“愕・GAKU” also means “surprised”, but it is not common for this KANJI to be used alone.

Pairing “超” and “絶”, which have similar meanings, is used to express “incredibly amazing.”

Combining “驚” and “愕”, which have the same meaning, gives an emotional expression such as “I was very surprised!”.

When you come across a situation you never thought of, or when you hear something you didn’t know before, Open your eyes and say, “驚愕の事実！・KYOUGAKU no JIJITSU（astonishing facts!）” It’s an “astonishing T-shirt” that makes your eyes go round and round, lol.

「驚愕（キョウガク）」きょうがく

「驚」は”surprised”といった、意外なことにびっくりして動揺する意味です。

「愕」も同じように”surprised”の意味になりますが、この漢字が単体で使われることは日常ではありません。

同じ意味を持つ「驚」と「愕」をあわせると、「とってもびっくりした！」といった感情表現になります。

思ってもみなかった状況に遭遇したときや、今まで知らなかったことを聴かされたときは、かっ！と目を見開いて、「驚愕の事実！」と声をあげましょう。

目がぐるぐるしてくるような「驚愕のＴシャツ」です（笑）
